Beavers
Beaver Scouts is for our youngest members. They range in age from 6 to 8 but don’t let their age fool you! They have fun by trying new things like hiking, canoeing and camping.
There are two colonies: Tuesday 7-8pm and Thursday 5:30-6:30pm.
Weekly activities are usually a mix of learning and playing games, either as individuals or in teams.
There are other activities, usually on weekends, throughout the year, that we would hope that he would attend. Some of these events have an additional charge.
It is important that you help to ensure that he turns up, on time(!!), in uniform, and ready, willing and prepared to get involved and learn.
We meet during term-time (Sept-June). Subs are €4 per week. In addition, an annual “capitation” registration of approx €60 per year, is payable in October-November; there is a small retrospective refund for families with more than one boy in the group.
