Jumper

beaver-jumper-cropOnce your son has settled in Beavers after a few weeks, and decided that he wishes to stay, then he is required to wear the beaver jumper, which can be purchased online new from the scout shop.ie, new from visiting the OAS stores in Dublin or Cork, or second-hand. We do not currently have any spare jumpers, but that may change if new cubs have jumpers that they intend to donate.

Trousers are also available from The Scout Shop/OAS, but we do not require the boys to wear them. Ideally, they should wear any trousers or shorts that have decent pockets.

Badges

Badge Positions gif Badges are awarded for various activities. They should be sewn onto their beaver jumpers in the correct positions, as indicated here.

Necker

neckerWhen the beaver is invested into the colony, he will be presented with the group necker, along with a woggle and some badges.

Please don’t purchase these from The Scout Shop, as we supply a larger and better quality scarf at the lower cost!! We will provide you with more details prior to his investiture – there is a cost of €12 for the necker, woggle and 4 badges.
